BMW S1000RR Linear Suspension Link
This link keeps the suspension’s rising rate more linear for added traction and a better ride quality.
- Mmachined from a billet block of 7075-T6 aluminum.
- This link will fit on the 2015 BMW S1000RR and on the 2013 and 2014 BMW HP4.
- The link comes fitted with BMW bearings. You will reuse the OEM bolts, sleeves and seals. The kit includes the rocker, two arms and a spacer.
The recommended shock from Ohlins is the BM-360. It is back-ordered for a while from Ohlins so what we did for the racers is use the BM-365. It is the Ohlins shock for the 2014 S1000R (not RR). The shock is shorter than needed so we made a custom clevis to compensate. If you want to go that route, we offer the clevis as an option on the link.
- The stock spring is ok, but might need to be changed for rider preferences.
- Valving could also be modified to take advantage of the flatter rising rate.
